How we earn revenue

BesteSIM earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with eSIM providers. When you click a link on our site and make a purchase on a provider's website, we may receive a commission. This commission comes from the provider, not from you. Your purchase price is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider.

How a score is produced

Every score on this site comes from five weighted inputs, each of them a figure the provider publishes. A reader can recompute any of them:

• Coverage 25%, pricing 25%, network tier 20%, app features 15%, support access 15%
• Every price is read off the provider's public checkout page, never off a media kit
• A low score is published as it comes out, whatever the affiliate relationship is
• No throughput figure is published anywhere on this site, because no speed test is run
• The scoring rubric is published in full, weights included, and applies to all five providers

Why we use affiliate links

Scoring eSIM providers costs real money: plan purchases, weekly price re-reads across 185 destinations, and editorial time. Affiliate revenue funds that work so we can keep BesteSIM free for readers. Without affiliate revenue, we could not maintain the depth and frequency of scoring that makes these reviews useful.
